I see that your Mac is having issues with connecting to the Mac App Store. For assistance with this issue I'd like you to please follow through the troubleshooting steps provided in the link below.
If you can't connect to the iTunes Store on your computer, a software conflict or your Internet service provider (ISP) might be blocking your access. The steps below might help you fix the issue.
Mac
- Make sure that you have the latest versions of iTunes and Safari.
- If you have a firewall, your settings might prevent you from connecting to the iTunes Store. Learn how to configure your firewall.
- Connection issues are occasionally caused by keychain issues. Use Keychain First Aid to reset your keychain.
- If you see a specific error message, get more help with fixing the issue.
If there's still an issue after you try the steps above, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are turned on for your network.
If you can’t connect to the iTunes Store
Take care.

Feb 1, 2016 9:40 AM in response to alex_h1by lorojoro,I have this same problem with the App Store, but I'm not finding any answers.
Re: updating Safari - how do I update Safari when those updates are delivered through the App Store, which is no longer working for me? The "Download" link takes me here, not to a file package: Get the latest version of Safari for your Mac - Apple Support
The Keychain First Aid tool no longer seems to exist. Apple's marked that page as "archived" and no longer updated, and the Keychain Access utility doesn't seem to offer any similar feature. Mac OS X 10.6: Solving problems with keychains https://support.apple.com/kb/PH7296?locale=en_US
I do not believe a firewall is my issue, but I will investigate that further. (This is my work machine. Nothing else is being affected by firewall issues.)
Looking for other things to try.....

Feb 18, 2016 3:43 PM in response to DarkHuntressby Charles Lindauer,★HelpfulI quit iTunes and App Store, then opened Activity Monitor. I typed "Store" without quotation marks into the search field, and quit, actually force quit all processes. App Store worked fine after that.
