Q: Crashing when I restart computer

I stopped my computer from crashing when I used safari. However when ever I go to restart my MacBook Pro before it starts the restart process it crashes. Is there a way to track this down to remove or some kind of quick fix?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

Disconnect all devices from your MBP & do the following:

Option key>Finder>Go>Library>Preferences.  Trash the com.apple.finder.plist file, repair permissions & restart your computer.

I did as you stated above. The computer still crashes once I hit the restart from the restart menu not the actual window that opens up after selecting. Once I hit the restart from the menu, the computer freezes and then crashes about 1 second later. Once it turns on it let me know in several different languages that the computer shut off improperly. It also randomly crashes on its own when you have a few applications open and running at the sometime.

Is the somewhere else I can look to track down the file causing this issue?

Disconnect all devices from your comp.  Run Apple Hardware Test.  And for good measure: CLICKY CLICK---> EtreCheck & copy/paste your report. ”EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.”

As far as I know I can't run this on my Mac.

This code keeps coming up after the crash and I think this may be the issue. Does this seem to make sense?

Delete this item and see if the kernel panics stop:

If not, reinstall the original RAM module (2GB in lieu of the 8GB) and see if thew kernel panics stop.

    Ciao.

If I do a system wipe and fresh install of everything should this solve the problem?

Yes, if you install all third party applications systematically in order to find any problematic one and if there is no hardware issue causing the kernel panics,

    Ciao.
