Q: help requested to get mac photos to recognize an email service to email my photos
Hi,
I work on an iMac, which now has the mac 'photos' program , which replaced the iPhoto program I used to have.
I am trying to email some of my images stored in photos [using aol as my server].
There are no email options listed when I click on the 'share' button.
When I click on the 'more' [choices] button, aol appears as an option, but I cannot get the option of "aol mail" to be selected. There is a check mark against the aol option, but it is not highlighted in blue, as are the other options such as - add to photos - Facebook - Flickr, which works to share my images.
Can anyone help me solve this problem I'm afraid I am not very computer competent so will need pretty detailed instructions.
I should mention that I know I can just open my aol email, open a new email form, and then attach images. But most of my images are large files stored in 'photos', and thus not user friendly for me to upload in email form, or for people to download. The old iPhoto program very efficiently gave me choices of file size to email out.
I feel sure that there must be some way to set it up, I just can't figure it out on my own!
Thanks in advance.
Bridget
