Feb 3, 2016 3:16 PM in response to AVG 07by sberman,My iPhone 6S has a battery that easily lasts all day.
Check Settings > Battery and see what app(s) is/are consuming your battery.

Feb 3, 2016 3:21 PM in response to AVG 07by ChrisJ4203,You probably do not need a replacement. My 6s will last a day and a half to 2 days, and I'm a rather heavy user.
Go to Settings>Battery and see what app is using the highest percentage of your battery. Then from there you can troubleshoot. You have a stuck process, or you have corrupt file or data in your backup.
User troubleshooting steps include restart, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory. Test after each step. If you restore to factory and still have an issue, then return to the service center, explain what you have done and they will make their decision.

Feb 3, 2016 7:01 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by AVG 07,Yea as u told i chkd which apps are using battery a lot and i found out safari as the 1st 1. bt am not sure the usage of apps are displayng correctly, I was usng My music app for around 1 hr bt the usage shows my music has been working nly for 7 minutes background and 1 min on screen. 1 min on screen may b true bt background usgae should be 1 hr ryt??
i have reset my phone and set up as a new device.. i dint restore any backp datas.. stil battery life is as same as before.
i dont play games. within 2 hrs of normal usage i am losin 47% of battery. device also heats up when i hear music via phones speaker.
my brother also has the same mobile iphone 6s he is getting a solid battery life in average 9-10 hours of usage and has a good standby time.
when i fully charge and start to use my mobiles 100% mark stays for 15-18min. On same type of usage my bro's mob stood for 48 min.
and then aftr that from 99% it starts to go round rapidly.over night am losing 10-14% battery.
usualy iphones would ve the best standby time. mine looks totaly opp to that.

Apr 9, 2016 11:43 AM in response to AVG 07by ignaciopalmero21,I'M having the same issue. And i strongly recommend you just to close the apps that you won't use again, because re-opening is what makes the battery ran out, not multitasking.

Apr 9, 2016 12:11 PM in response to ignaciopalmero21by ChrisJ4203,Apps in the multi-tasking list are suspended and are not running. Re-opening them does have a negative affect on the battery. Leaving them in the task list does not. It actually helps the battery for you to leave them there so you do not have to open them again.

Sep 1, 2016 1:46 AM in response to AVG 07by vdex,Same here, apple support advise to uninstall all my favourite apps, facebook, whatsapp, and everything else that consume battery.
The thing is before the ios upgrade, i can easily have 8,9 hours heavy use, but now i carefully light use battery still only last about 4,5 hours.
they claimed hardware is all fine. try your luck on the next ios upgrade.
good luck to you, probably need to extend your warranty with apple care until the next or the next or the next ios that might help with your battery issue.
