Feb 4, 2016 9:09 PM in response to Jamessal507by Kenichi Watanabe,For devices that are iPods (except for iPod touch), there is no need to add them as devices associated with your Apple ID. They do not count toward your limit. Such media player iPods are only associated with your computer's iTunes library, which is not the same thing as your Apple ID.
For iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch), you sign in using your Apple ID on the device, and they are associated with your Apple ID. There is no "add button" for them in iTunes on your computer.
For additional computers, you use the Authorize This Computer in iTunes to "authorize" that computer to your Apple ID.
