You do have a return period if you don't care for this MacBook Air. I believe the period is 14 days.
But understand several things:
- As the others above have indicated, you have the most recent model.
- No technology company has any obligation to refresh hardware models at any frequency. Even when purchasing, say, an automobile, you may still buy a new 2015 model in 2016 - although in that case, it is more likely the manufacturer did issue a 2016 model.
Anyway, if you don't care for what you purchased, return it.
