Q: Problems with Performance (kernel_task), Locking Up, Crashes in Diagnostic Reports, more

Hi, for the last several months I've been scouring the boards for help on a number of issues.  Wondering if someone can help me.

The issues that I've seen are:

- Lots of crash reports in DiagnosticReports on console

- Spike in memory usage of kernel_task

- Video or Flash freezes safari when watching videos

- Fan will run constantly and computer gets very hot in the area above the keyboard on the left side mostly

- System performance heavily bogging down, apparently due to these factors

- Computer will crash and when I restart I get a grey screen with relish lines across it. It will never start unless I reboot and use the internet recovery tool.

Below is an EtreCheck report that I ran about an hour ago after I got the computer restarted.  Thanks for any help you can give me.

So I finally took my macbook to the Apple store to have them take a look at it. He hooked it up to some diagnostics machine and didn't see the graphics failure. He did say that the test would only confirm the failure if it was happening at the time of the test. So he looked at the console logs with many GPU restarts and I showed him pictures of the screen from when it was happening. He said that he thinks the graphics card is the problem and could get an exception with the photos.

They kept the mac and the next day they called and said they were able to replicate the failure and confirm that it was the graphics card and it would be covered under the extended warranty. Two days later, I had my macbook up and running again. Thanks for those who helped out here! Make sure you take photos of the screen to help your case if you are having these problems.
