hello if my iPhone has been stolen do I have to go to my carrier to block my imei

in some countries it's enough to report the imei to the police when you report it stolen and they handle getting all carriers in the country to block it

Reporting it to your carrier is a good idea. Some carriers will charge you for calls made on your phone after it was stolen if you don't report it in a reasonable length of time.
