Q: Bootcamp partition not displaying/mounting after multiple windows installation failed attempts
Hi,
I was trying to install windows 10 in my new Macbook Pro using Bootcamp.
When i first used the BOOT CAMP to install Windows 10 (from iso), it partitioned my hard disk to Macintosh HD (80gig) and BOOTCAMP (40gig). It could see it was downloading windows drivers. Towards the end, it rebooted the machine but i could not see/start Windows 10. Looked into the startup disk but windows was not listed. I thought there was some installation issue and after a while i decided to try again. I used the BOOTCAMP again to partition the drive back to the original mac form and redid the installation, which again resulted in the same scenario. But this time when i went to disk utility it's not showing the BOOT CAMP partition. It only shows my 80gig of hard disk, looks like i have lost the rest 40gig. Have gone thru various forums. I would really appreciate your help me reclaim my lost drive and also why the windows installation did not automatically kick on on reboot. Below some screens. Thanks
