Q: Can the Apple TV switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 Auntomatically

Can the Apple TV switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 Automatically? I'm planning to purchase an Apple TV. Need to know if I'm watching a show on the TV and then I decide to look up something real quick on the Apple TV do I have to go and locate the TV Remote control then switch to the correct HDMI port every time which would be annoying.

 

Please advise.

    You would switch back and forth between two HDMI inputs using the TV remote. However if correctly configured turning on the Apple TV will cause the TV to switch to the HDMI input used by the Apple TV, you can't switch it back again though via the Apple TV.
