Q: Music app sporadically crashing
iOS 9.2.1
iPhone 6
The music app has begun crashing sporadically within the past week. It will play about a minute into a song, then crash. When it recovers, it starts the same song over from the beginning. If I then skip the song (because I've already heard a fair portion), there's a high likelihood it will crash the same way during the next song (but this isn't always the case). It also crashes if I interact too much with the app while it's playing, or if I'm doing something with another app.
The frequency has gradually increased day to day, to where it will now crash at least a few dozen times in a day (I listen to it all day). This might have been triggered by my last iTunes sync, so I might try another sync to see if that helps. Any other suggestions for resolving this issue are most appreciated.

Hi AoiHikage,
I understand that you're experiencing some instability from the Music app on your iPhone. Fortunately there are a number of additional steps you can take to stabilize the app should re-syncing not do the trick. The first thing to try is force closing all open apps and restarting your iPhone.
Force an app to close in iOS

Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If Music continues to quit unexpectedly, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes. Prior to doing so, it's always a good idea to make sure that you've got a backup made.
- Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
- Put your device in recovery mode.
- When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.
All my best.
