Q: set print area

In excel you can select the area you want to print from a spreadsheet. Once you have selected the area, under print options you can print only the selected area.  I can't see how to do this in numbers.  Is there a way to do this in Numbers?

    Hi stelcon,

One way to print a selected area of a Numbers table involves Preview.

Select the area you want to print, copy.

Open Preview and choose File>new from clipboard.

    Print.

    Hi stelcon,

Numbers is based around several Tables, each with a purpose. You can create a "Presentation" Sheet (Tab) with tables, graphs, Shapes (drawing objects) and images (photos for example) and print only that Sheet (Tab). Values can come via Lookup formulas from other Sheets (Tabs) that you don't print.

Menu > File > Print... to see Print Setup and choose 'This Sheet' instead of 'All Sheets'.

Please reply with your overall aim. More information will lead to a solution .

    Regards,

    Ian.
