Q: Keychain Access: change Local Items password
Hey everyone,
Until a few days ago, I had my OS X login connected to my Apple ID. Then I disconnected the two, and changed both passwords.
Now whenever I start OS X, lots of things (talagent...) ask for my Local Items keychain password, which is still set to the password I've had before the change. The change password menu item is greyed out, so I have no idea how to change it. Needless to say it's quite annoying having to type in the password about 5-6 times on each start of OS X.
Does anyone know a solution for that?
Thanks in advance.
MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.1)

Just to solve this issue...
I hesitated contacting Apple as my Protection Plan had just expired. Then I had the idea: If the problem developed by changing the password, I might be able to solve it that way. So I changed the local password back to the one I've had when it was still linked to my Apple ID/iCloud password. I restarted the MacBook and did not have to type in the password numerous times like I had before. I then changed it back to a new password once again, restarted again and there you go: Everything's fine now.
