Q: Exchange calendar not syncing after iOS 9 update

I am using google Apps for business (no two steps authentication) and Exchange calendar stops syncing after iOS 9 update (now running on iOS 9.0.1) . It is happening both on iPad and iPhone and started after the update.

I have already tried resetting both devices (and set up as new device without restoring from iCloud backups), it works for a few hours and then it stops again. The temporary solutions of either disabling the calendar sync and re-enable it or deleting the Exchange account and setting it up again, works for only a few hours.

Does anyone else experiencing the same problem?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.0.1

I am using Win7 64-bit, and my calendars quit syncing with Microsoft Outlook 2010.  The note above about a path being longer than 2048 causing the sync failure helped me.  My path was just over.  Because my company won't let me edit any system settings, I had to open a command window, set the path to empty (""), and then navigate to iTunes (c:\Program Files\iTunes) and manually start iTunes.  Once I did that, my calendar is now syncying.

If you have recently, or recently been asked to update your password in Exchange, be sure you also update the password on your device, Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/Accounts/Exchange/Account/Password. Once I did that, the calendars sync'ed.

This is a bug in iOS 9 - I just bought an iOS 9 device and have this problem, while my older iOS 8 device (which I had thankfully not upgraded to iOS 9 works just fine - all else unchanged.

Apple - we need a quick fix. At risk are all those pretty iOS fragementaion diagrams that you love to flaunt at conferences.

My issue is couple of my admin is using iphone 6 with 9.3.3 has no problem synching but when you move an event on a "PC" 3 times and the 3rd time it won't synch on the iphone.Sometimes there secretaries need to do changes constantly and the iphone wont update the recent chances so they end missing a meeting (they are ****).If they do the changes from iphone or ipad from the secretarys device then it seems to be working fine. But our  company is too big and I can't give them this solution where they rely heavily on their pc..any suggestions?

Also..I tried wiping out..deleting the outlook account, restart, remove device from the outlook settings before adding the outlook account on the iphone, turning off icloud sync.
