Q: Can't create a collage with Photos

All of my photos are stored in the mac Photos library which comes with my mac.

I want to make collages and I have downloaded PhotoScape X to do this.

However, I cannot access my Photo library. There are a very limited number of extensions available when I try to "share" the library and none of them appear to include any third party software which can let me make a collage. On google, it appears the only extensions are to edit the photos and not to make a collage.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make a collage without re-saving all of my photos outside of Photos for mac? I am happy to use any other apps to do this although it seems they need the right extension to actually access my photos without me duplicating them.

OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Access them using the media browser (lower left in the source pane on the right under media ==> photos ==> Photos) same as with iPhoto - or select tehm in Photos and export to a desktop folder and use form there

    Thanks Larry,

I am a recent user of mac so have never used iPhoto.

Will exporting to a desktop folder mean I am duplicating the photos? I have thousands so I don't want to go down this route if this is the case.

When I try to use the photoscape media browser it only shows photos which I have manually moved outside of Photos and not ones inside Photos.

reboot - the media browser should show Photos - it does not show any photos outside of Photos (or iPhoto or Photo booth) - if you are seeing photos outside of Photos you are not in the media browser - it is lower down as I said - under media ==> photos ==> Photos - all of your photos in Photos will show ther along with the Photos organization
