cant print in boot camp with win 7 anyone point me in right direction

YourPrinterIP is a place holder. You will need to put the actual IP address of the printer.

Can you try to add the printer using 10.0.1.2 as a TCP/IP address and test? On the Airport Extreme, is IPV6 set to link-local only?

i added printer using 10.0.1.2 as TCP/IP but when I test , it sent to the queue but did not print then in the status area after it said printing status changed to error

The IPV6 was set to automatically , but i changed to link-local only (was that ok?)

If you click on the entry and expand the status, what is full error message?

no, If I try and click on the word "error" no nothings happens
when i click on the icon to the far left (left of "test page") i get the Test Page Document Properties page that opens up (see above)

Thats all I can do

Can you check in Event Viewer for any entries related to printing? Were any printer-specific drivers installed in Windows?

Is there a HP driver installed in Device Manager for this printer? The error messages indicate a driver issue.

Also, do you want to download HP-Officejet-Pro-8600-Plus-e-All-in-One-Printer-series Easy Start and check if it installs a specific driver?
