    Hi Sep10828,

I understand you recently just updated to iOS 9.2.1 and you started encountering problems like your device starts to freeze when you're using it a lot. You could try uninstalling any apps you don't need or don't use. If you're still having encounters with lag even after restarting your device you might want to restore your iOS device. If you need help doing that, I'd recommend checking out this Apple support article here: Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

    -Regards,

    John

    Hey again!

Their's a whole debate on whether or not iPhones can get viruses or not. From what I've heard no system is 100% penetrable, so yes iPhones may possibly be able to get viruses but you rarely have to worry about them. If you're doing preventative steps like going to safe websites, and keeping your iOS apps updated and iOS updated you should be fine. Because apps are "sandboxed" if I'm right, this feature helps to limit apps from what they can do and how they interact with iOS so it helps to protect your device from easily getting infected. If you're scared their could be a virus on your iOS device, or something similar you could reset your iPhone to factory resettings (just remember to backup your iOS device.) Apple has a great reputation for keeping iOS a secure mobile operating system though. The general rule I follow is to just follow preventative steps that I mentioned previously.

I hope this helps to clear things up,

    John

    Hi there,

I am also encountering many issues after updateing my iPhone to IOS 9.2.1. Below are the issues.

    - Application is not stable -> Automatic quit from the apps and can't start the app any more

    - Can't download apps from Apps store

    - Seems that the phone try to download data from internet all the time -> downloading sign shown in the top left

    - Freeze on start up after restart and needs to restore the phone

The issues are very annoying. Does anyone know how to solve the issues above and when Apple is going to release new IOS?

Thank you in advance for your advise

    Khai

There are no known viruses that can or ever have infected an iOS device. The OP only needs to clear their Safari Cookies and Website data and close Safari completely by double-tapping the Home Key and swiping up on the Safari thumbnail.

    Hi Sep10828,

You're more than welcome! I can understand how annoying and misleading some pop ups are. If you'd like to block them you can go into Settings > Safari > and toggle on "Block Pop-Ups." You aren't the only one experiencing problems with iOS 9 and these pop-ups too, but no worries that's why other contributors like me are here on the communities - so we can help each other!

    John.

well i can download things from the app store but whenever i use it it tends to freeze up. I reset all my content and settings and havent had a problem yet. but its pretty annoying. Sometimes i takes a long time to enter an app, or whenever i unlock my screen it doesnt let me swipe. But people are having the same problem so Im not that worried anymore! As long as i dont have a virus on my phone im good! Haha

It's great to hear you're able to use the app store! If it tends to freeze up on you can try forcing the app store app to quit. If you need help you can check out this support article from Apple: If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support. I'm glad you aren't having any other problems besides the ones you're having now, and fortunately they're not so serious problems. If an app takes too long to load or your screen wont let you swipe try restarting your iOS device, if you need help doing that here's another support article from Apple: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

If you have any other problems, don't hesitate to post!

    John

Actually I have the same problem, I got a new IPhone 6, updated the software and the iPhone begun to shut down after the auto lock was activated, I tried to restore the software but the phone was frozen during the process, tried several time until finally it got re starting, but the problem persist, I changed the auto lock to never and is the only way to keep it on.
