Q: who to delete documents

I'm reading "who to delete documents & data" as "How to delete documents & data" as usually it's the owner of the phone that deletes the data :-)

You typically delete the documents from within the app that created them.

which has sections for various apps.

If an app is not listed there the techniques are usually the same as for one of those, typically swipe and delete or select and delete.
