Mar 10, 2016 12:37 AM in response to dstroebeby godwyn1066,I think what Apple have done is kill off Maps bookmarks in IOS 9 and replaced it with favourites. I am running OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks) where Maps (version 1.0) still uses bookmarks. The result is that any favourites added to Maps in IOS 9 do not show up in bookmarks in OS X Maps and visa versa. Very annoying, I suppose Apple wants everyone to run the latest IOS and OS X but it still is very frustrating. Apple do not seem to like backward compatibility.
In my case I'll upgrade to El Capitan to see if the Macbook/iPhone/iPad Maps favourites synchronise properly, which they should.
Using Google Maps is an option but I find using their saved site functionality across Macbook/iPhone/iPad very clunky.
