Q: I did the retro theme hack on my iPod Touch (6g) except my iPod Touch takes forever to reset and it slow now. How can I fix it?
I did the retro theme thing on my iPod Touch last night and I didn't know it was a hack at the time. I saw many people tweeting that it was cool and fun, so I decided to give it a go. My iPod Touch takes forever to reset (holding down the lock button and the home button) and it eventually will come up to the lockscreen, but now its lagging. When I type in my passcode, my iPod doesn't register it until maybe a few seconds later. Sometimes it'll just completely restart on its own too. Should I drain the battery or try to restart it on my PC? The closest Apple store to me is a four hour drive to a new state.
iPod touch, iOS 9.2.1

Be more careful in the future and always check the information you see on social media.
Try the DFU mode, maybe this will help, although this is not guaranteed.
Apple is aware of the issue and is working on a fix.
