Q: Air print will only work on 1 printer not the other

I have 2 Epson WF 4640 wifi printers. Was successful in getting both on the same wifi network as the ipads (6) when I go to print both show up as available but only 1 will print, the other will time out and then give a message that the chosen printer is offline. I checked several times and it is still active on the same wifi network, I can access it through its IP address. Any ideas?

iPad 2, iOS 9.2.1, using Epson WF640 wifi printers

Latest firmware on both?

Only power one on & see if the powered on printer works.

The 'old re-boot everything ... like router

Bonjour does not use a routable protocol [ unless you add third part software ]. Both the ipad and the printer need to be on the same router.

This will give you more info on the status of your airprinters.
