Feb 16, 2016 3:50 AM in response to Faroesevikingby SunOfRa78,You are probably due for a new battery.
Apple do battery replacements.
Or if you wish to forgo any out of warranty options, you could get a cheaper battery replacement through an independent repairer.

Feb 16, 2016 3:56 AM in response to Faroesevikingby lllaass,I would try the following to help confirm battery problem
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Sep 22, 2016 6:10 PM in response to Faroesevikingby Subiesu,I am having a similar issue where the iPod would not last 8 hours without charging. It use to last at least 24 hours before I had to charge it. Have you resolved your problem? If so what did you do? Thanks!
