Q: How do i sync my iphone 6 to my 4th generation ipod?

I've had the ipod for a few years now, it is a 4th generation and 32 GB. My iphone is fairly new, but it is only 16 GB. I buy songs from Itunes on my iphone 6 The new songs I've bought off of my iphone do not transfer to my ipod. I need to because iphone keeps removing them. They are still on my iphone but in a shade of grey. I do not have access to my old desktop to sync. I can use my brother's desktop. New purchased songs are not on my ipod, which is where I want them to be because it is a 32 GB and they fit on there.

You cannot sync iDevices like that.

You will need to use a computer to transfer all the Purchases from the iPhone to it, to then be able to Sync them to the iPod Touch.

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer - Apple Support

The 4th Gen iPod Touch will not be able to play songs obtained from the Apple Music Subscription Service, as they cannot be synced to it, and it cannot use the Apple Music subscription service itself.

Have your brother create a user for you on his computer, so you can create an iTunes Library on it from where to sync to the iPod Touch.  Once the library is created and authorized to your account, transfer your purchases, and then sync to the iPod.

Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes using USB - Apple Support

You are trying to mix apples and oranges (no pun intended). Apple Music is a streaming service. All music is streamed to the device with the exception of music that you have specifically marked to "Make Available Offline". Only devices running iOS 9 or later can use Apple Music.

You iPod Touch can download music by opening the iTunes Store. Click on More>Purchased>Music>Not on this iPod, and then click on the "Download All" option at the top right, or selectively download the songs by tapping on the cloud next to them.

I would not suggest using your brother's desktop to do this via iTunes as downloading past purchases will associate the computer with your ID and will prevent any other Apple ID from downloading past purchases, using iTunes Match, or using Apple Music for 90 days.

NOTE: Just saw Phil's post, and if you set up a separate iTunes library as he has instructed, then the caveat above would not apply.

    Best of luck,
