Feb 17, 2016 6:11 PM in response to suebertby Demo,Have you tried power cycling your router? Unplug it from power for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in again. While you are waiting for the router to fully start up, force close the app store and force restart your device.
Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it
To force restart your device, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Feb 17, 2016 7:10 PM in response to suebertby Demo,I meant specifically on the phone have you ever been able to connect to the App Store.
But in any event, you could try resetting all settings. When you do this, all of the device settings will have to be entered again. You will not lose any data, but it does take some time to re-enter all of the settings the way that you had them. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
Can I assume that you went through all of these steps including checking the date, time and time zone?

Feb 17, 2016 7:14 PM in response to Demoby suebert,Yes, I have been able to connect until just recently. Noticed it about 2 weeks ago but forgot about it until I tried to download a new app that I wanted today. Yes, checked the date and time zones. May have to reset....tried to avoid this but it may be the last resort.
