Q: I can't see my favourites in Finder Pop Up Windows side bar

Hi, I'm so annoyed. I can't seem to be able to view my favourites in any Finder Pop up windows side bar. If I'm in any application and I want to add a file, the finder window opens with no access to my Favorites. (Specifically my iCloud drive)

It shows when I open up finder from applications bar. Just not in pop up windows.

It used to be there *** happened to it?

I believe that you may be referring to the minimal finder windows that occasionally show up as the Open or Save dialogs.  If you look near the top right or top left of the small window there is a button that expand the dialog to a full dialog that includes the Finder sidebar.  I've seen two variations of this minimal Finder window but in both cases there is an icon near the top that expands the window.
