Q: do the new earpods fit all ears?

I was wondering if the new earpods fit all ears since l'm buying them. They look like they only fit in particular ears with the shape of the earphones.

iPod nano, Windows 7

A while back with the older set of Apple headphones my wife ran into issues and went to a running store and bought a set of rubber inserts called Yurbuds.   If they made a specific pair to fit the new EarBuds, it would be smart.  While my set I got from my wife isn't a perfect fit, it really works well, and sound isn't compromised.

Not exactly an elegant fix, but I cut thin strips from band-aid type adhesive bandages (look for the webby matte kind as they are more flexible) and stuck them around the rim of the earpods.  They move around a lot less now and I am a lot happier with the fit.

I just received them as a gift. Great sound but they don't even go into my ears very well. They hang on my ears tho and generally don't fall out completely. I was hoping to work out with them in but can only work at my desk! Bah! Anyhoo, they do sound good. If they were half the size, they'd fit.

I've been using some for a while now but my ears must be too small because they ache after a 15 minute stint...  Are the Apple Earbuds any better for small eared people?  I'd love to try some but they're so **** expensive...

I have small ear canals and the new earbuds do not fit. I have to put them in with the main output sideways. They sound great, but I won't be able to wear them this way. I'll go back to using my super cheap but good Panasonic earbuds I think I paid $7 for on Amazon.

    I agree with Firebay!

These earbuds fall out of my ear regularly.

Those cheap $7.00 Panasonic earbuds are quite awesome for the price.

The Apple earbuds do have great sound, but I was disappointed that they do not fit my ears at all.  Regardless of how I position them they will fall out.  Since they seem to fit most people, I must be in the minority, but I was very disappointed after my iPhone 5 purchase that I could not use the earbuds while walking.

Apple, a good idea would be to make 'ear-bud' type earphones. Ones with rubber casing that squeezes in your ear and gently expands to fit in all types of ears as opposed to most people.

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!  I have 4 pair of earpods laying around (came with ipods, iphones etc) collecting dust because they were falling out with the slightest movement.  I spent another day searching for solutions.  I came across this blog that was the FIRST mention that I found about switching ears and looping the wires around the ears.  So simple and for me it is perfect.  I even tried tugging (not a hard yank) on them and they stayed in place.

I don't know if I am allowed to post the blog addy but it has pics to demonstrate better so here it is (mods please delete if this is not allowed).

dude do what i do. put the EarPods the other way round. left on right and right on left. it fits in perfectly because left on left and right on right don't fit me well and they fall out so try my method. it will sound off like playing a game with sound that goes left to right or watching a movie with sound coming from the wrong side but it fits at least.
