Q: Disable iPhoto from opening

Whenever i try to charge my phone from my computer (usually when the power goes out) it has to open iTunes and iPhoto, opening iTunes is just annoying if i wanted to open iTunes I would open it after i plug my ****** phone in but, iPhoto is 100 times worse, IT DOESN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING IT JUST SITS THERE AND DOESN'T RESPOND ITS MORE USELESS THAN TUXEDO MASK! Like *** i dont even know what iPhoto does! is there any way to disable iPhoto from opening when my phone is plugged in (the phone is my 5c, iOS 9, Blue)

    Sure - but you really need to learn some manors - aggressive profane posts are not a good way to get help - the answer is very simple and I'm sure you will have no problem figuring it our yourself

    I am seeing, you are using Yosemite.  Is it really iPhoto that opens when you connect your iPhone or the new Photos for Mac application?

     

    You can stop iPhoto from opening by changing the preferences:  When iPhoto opens, go to iPhoto > Preferences,  then change the option:

    Connecting Camera opens:  Change this to "No application".
