Like others I kept getting the "backup could not be completed" message. Came here. Saw your suggestions. Plugged my phone in to recharge - and VIOLA! my backup completed! Bravo Zulu. Joni

The Sr. Advisor with Apple escalated the problem to engineering. I hope they will fix the problem. I am still waiting since April 04, 2016. It is now April 12. How did you get them to handle your case so fast? I am still waiting for a response. Called and left several messages, but no response.
