Q: Help needed to completed network provider transfer

I've completed my 2 year contract with Vodaphone and now have purchased a rolling one month sim only contract with 3 but my iphone will not work with it even though the PUK number was obtained and a long number sent to *#06# as requested but still nothing......  I've been at it for 4 days so far, Vodaphone now has deleted my number and I have the PUK to retain it but why can't 3 pick it up.....

Have Vodaphone told you the device is unlocked? Policies vary by country so you will need to tell us where you are to get accurate advice (just the country is enough).

If it shows 'Invalid SIM' & or 'SOS Only' it may be locked. Contact Vodaphone for instructions how to unlock.

You could try the SIM in another phone if you have one that is unlocked - it may allow you to receive calls whilst the iPhone unavailable.

Vodaphone told me they had unlocked my phone and when I went into one of their stores after a 40 mile drive he told me to plug into iTunes and fill in another form to complete the process so I drove 40 miles home and cannot find any form on the apple site to fill in.  Why is everything made so difficult for people. But thanks for replying I hardly expected a response after previous experiences.
