Feb 19, 2016 11:34 AM in response to ktaaaby rkaufmann87,The question mark at startup indicates your computer cannot find the startup volume. Please carefully read OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support , if you cannot boot into the Recovery Partition or your normal startup volume this indicates you likely have a failed drive. Because we have no idea what iMac you own, the next thing to do would be to take the computer in for repair at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. If you don't know of any AASPs in your area please click https://locate.apple.com/country.
Also, if you have AppleCare coverage on the computer, please contact AppleCare via telephone for support.
