Q: nano not remembering audio book page mark.
playing audio book on my nano, which imported via cd on my pc, it doesn't remind me where I got to in the book, whenever I play something else like music.
I have to remember where I got to myself and keep a note.
There surely must be a way of the nano remembering.
I do tick the remember me box when importing the book from iTunes.

I don't listen to audiobooks that much, but I synced one to my iPod nano. It seems to work properly. I skipped ahead in the audiobook and listened for a few seconds, then left the audiobook to play a song. When I came back to the audiobook, it was where I had stopped listening before. My iPod nano is the 5th gen model.
Also, for you, does this happen with every audiobook (have you tried using more than one audiobook)?
If you have not already, try doing a Reset (restart) of the iPod nano
Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support
Try again after the Reset. If that does not help, the only other suggestion I have is to do a Restore on the iPod using iTunes, in case there is a software problem or data corruption on the iPod. This erases the iPod, reinstalls its software, and sets it to default settings.
