Q: Battery issues iPhone 5s 9.2.1
Since i installed last iOS update to 9.2.1 my iphone 5S started cutting out dead about 40% power. i have to plug it in to get any response but when I connect power adaptor it shows the approximate power levels with about 1 or 2 % below previous level before the shutdown.
Tonight it cut out at 60% but when I plugged it in showed 58% so the shutdown used 2% of my power!
I Switched on power % to properly track problem.
I checked settings and switched off all location services etc and followed online advice but nothing has helped.
is this possibly being caused by latest update or is it likely to be a dodgy battery or dodgy connection?
How much would I be looking at for a replacement battery and can the Genius Bar install on the day?

Booked Appointment at Genius Bar and diagnostic showed Battery Service was needed as was only working to 60% capacity. I got a new battery at cost of £59.
