Theres a process called Nsurlsessiond running every time i start my iMac, and it takes up all my bandwith all the time. How do i delete this process? I am using OSX El Capitan.

I have the same problem with Yosemite. I don't lose bandwidth because I block it with LittleSnitch, but it does keep trying to connect.
There seem to be a few connections that assume that I'm using the cloud for backup. I do not, and never intend to entrust anything to it. Is there any way to get rid of these spurious connections?
I use the Yosemite laptop for music production, and with a lot of help managed to get rid of the Game Center, but I still have these interruptions that ruin takes, asking me to connect to send photos to the cloud. Try explaining that to a client.
Any help with any of this would be greatly appreciated.

Eric, thanks for the link but I did read that post, and found others like it. The problem for me is that I don't use Safari, nor do I use the cloud.
In answer to the original poster, I would not delete it because I don't know how deeply integrated it is into the system, or why. However, I have blocked it from communicating in or out via Little Snitch and the network works fine.
I am honestly worried about Apple's direction with the OS. Since the latest update to Yosemite I keep getting interruptions to send photos to the cloud, which again I will never do. I understand from the discussions on StackOverflow that you can't remove the Game Center from El Capitan, so I'm staying at Yosemite; I've got enough problems there.
And just to be clear, I love using the Mac and use Logic X Pro for recording, which I think is the best out there. But it's hard to talk down a furious client who has just lost a great take and is demanding that I "switch to a PC" (as if it were even possible). It's frustrating. I just want to use the Mac for the Pro apps; no games, no family stuff -- I use an iMac for that.

HI people i am user of apple and never use icloud even never registre in cs use 3g internet and for 2 year never have this problem till 27.07.2016, all my auto download off, all brandmour setting maximum protection always, and when connet my 3g modem immediately nsurlsessiond start download some content use my expensive traffic i dont know what to do, looks like virus not apple content.
I Have the same problem. Eats up all the bandWidth. On another forum a user wrote some code you can use to unload Nsurlsessiond until the next boot up. Here's that code, type into terminal:

launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchAgents/com.apple.nsurlsessiond.plist

sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.nsurlstoraged.plist
On my Mac Pro, it seems to be communicating with Amazon servers and I read something about Adobe air In the path used to excute... Not that I understand much of what I'm reading. Tried uninstalling adobe air but that didn't work. If there only was a way to pin point the culprit that keeps downloading and figuring out how to get rid of it? Anyone figure this out yet?
I'm using about 8gig of data a day on this piece of work. Wish it can be stopped. Before El Capitan, my data consumption was redicuously low.
