Q: My music won't add to my music I click the " " Icon and it says "added to playlist" then it cliches and goes back to the " "button. Help!

SO my music won't add to my playlist. I'm trying to download the anti albums I I go to the "+" and then if I immediately click it goes to the cloud but them it glitches and will go back to "+" so it's not going onto my music library. I've heard something about having a song limit so I deleted some music and that won't delete properly either. Could it be a glitch? Or a bug? What do it do?! Help mee

    Hi izzy,

The resource below explains how to add music to your playlist, and download the music that you want to listen to offline.  Just in case the issue is related to not having enough storage space on your iPhone, I'll include some information on that as well.

Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Add music from the Apple Music catalog to your library on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or PC

    Take care,

Before we start - I am assuming that you are a subscriber to Apple Music and that you have iCloud Music Library turned ON for your iPhone? Because otherwise you cannot add Apple Music titles to your library.

    (1) I doubt if it is the song limit - which is currently at 100,000 tracks. And since you are just trying to add the tracks to your Library, the amount of memory on the iPhone - despite what the "community specialist" linked to - would be very unlikely to be the cause. (If you were trying to download the songs to your iPhone after successfully adding them to your library, then the amount of memory on your device "might" be the issue.)

    (2) Have you tried first "force quitting" the Music App by double clicking on the HOME button and then swiping up on the image of the Music App and then restarting it? Very often that will solve these types of issues.

    (3) If restarting the app does not work, the next thing to try would be doing a hard reset of the iPhone (by holding the HOME and POWER buttons at the same time until the Apple logo shows up and waiting for the iPhone to restart). BTW - this will not erase or change anything on your iPhone.

    (4) If both of those doesn't resolve the issue, you can try either turning Apple Music and iCloud Music library OFF and then back ON. That will take a few minutes as it will remove all the Apple Music from your iPhone and then add it back in.
