Q: Photos and iCloud

I have iPhone 6s and need to free up some photo space. i have all my photos uploaded to iCloud but was wondering if i delete these off my device will they delete off iCloud as well?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.2.1

Yes it will. If you have iCloud Photo Library enabled, then any change or deletion you make is to the iCloud Photo Library itself, which is then reflected on your device. These support articles may help to clarify:
