Q: Backup itunes library?

Hi, I would like to reset my MacBook but I have all my iTunes stuff setup perfectly and would like to be able to not lose iTunes files etc. when I reset my mac. I don't have a big enough external hard drive to backup my whole computer. Is there any other ways? move iTunes folder onto USB?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

Then you should get one. Easily less than $100.
Turn on Time Machine to automate backing up.

It also explains how to restore it, after erasing your MacBook's drive and reinstalling its software.
