Feb 21, 2016 5:45 PM in response to bgvjby a brody,iOS does not run on iMacs. The Bluetooth menu, if enabled has this icon in the menubar on the upper right hand corner:

If it is not visible, the easiest way to access it is go to Apple menu -> System preferences -> Bluetooth, and check the checkbox to make it visible.
Once visible, you can see the keyboard mentioned in the menu if it is turned on (you'll see a green light for the keyboard on the keyboard that is on when you power it on). Select connect in the keyboard's menu, and be ready to type in the code on the keyboard to pair it with the computer.
In the future, please in the Mac OS X forum unless you really are operating an older Mac. Go to Apple menu -> About This Mac to find your operating system. And look at this tip on where to post:

Feb 23, 2016 12:37 AM in response to a brodyby bgvj,Thanks for that however whilst wireless keyboard seems to be working it doesnt connect (the mouse does) therefore unable enter password. Green light on keyboard flashes green but can't get any further
