Q: NewMacbook: Bootcamp Windows 8.1 Crash
I am currently using the New Macbook Early 2015, Core M 1.1GHz, 8GB, 256GB,
I am using OS X 10.11.3 for study and work, and I also install Windows 8.1 through Bootcamp for gaming. (just a small game, but performance of NewMB do not allow to visualize windows)
I download the windows image from MSDN, and install using BootCamp, but after around one week, the windows crashed, and gave me the following error SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (WppRecorder.sys)
Because of this I have to reinstall Windows every week, and I already reinstall the Win 8.1 almost ten times. I have tried several version of windows images, I am sure that the image is good. I have also tried to format the whole disk, reinstall both OS X and Windows, but still gives me some error.
Last week, I went to Apple Store, the guy in genius bar told me this maybe a driver issue, and told me try to enter the safe mode, and uninstall the drivers may cause this. But Windows gives me the same error even I enter the safe mode. So I reinstall again, but I did not use the bootcamp drivers for windows from Apple, I install every drivers manually (because the lastest bootcamp will gives a error during the installation, and I thought it cause this crash)
Today, Windows crash again, fortunately, Windows auto repair works, and I log in windows successfully after the auto repair.
Then I check the Windows log file in C:\Windows\Minidump\ (files here records the blue screen errors and crashes), and it told me, the crash is because the cdrom.sys.
But I never install the cdrom driver, and also there is no cd drive in the macbook.
Do any one know why this happen? and how to solve this?
MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3), null
