Feb 23, 2016 6:08 PM in response to ScottfromTellurideby my ginger,★HelpfulDid you migrate your files from an old computer to the new one? Including the older version of FCPX. Did the new computer come with the new version or is it from the app store or just an update? Apple says to keep a backup of the older one when doing the update. Just in case. If you then up date the older one ,it should keep your projects. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201237

Feb 24, 2016 8:25 AM in response to my gingerby ScottfromTelluride,Thanks Ginger. My older MBP with the early FCPX version will still open the projects created in that system. What I am asking is how to UPDATE those older projects so they will work with FCPX 10.2.3 on the new MBP
I have followed the protocols that FCPX instructions say to do......but the older projects will not offer themselves for upgrade. I know Im missing something.
