Is your computer that runs iTunes a Mac or Windows PC? If Windows, what version?

Feb 23, 2016 11:38 AM in response to kds562by Kenichi Watanabe,I don't know the reason for needing to do a Restore, but did the iPod work properly with the current Windows 10 and iTunes installation, before the need to do the Restore arose? Or did an event, such as upgrading the existing system to Windows 10 (or upgrading iTunes) cause the need to do the Restore (and this resulting problem)?

If you already reinstalled the latest version of iTunes after upgrading to Windows 10, you may want to try completely removing iTunes and then reinstalling iTunes.
Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support
