Q: my new ipad xl will not restore from my existing apple icloud
Dear Apple Tribe
I purchased an iPad XL about ten days ago. I have been using iCloud with previous iPads and iPhones, so when I started up this new device I chose to restore from a recent backup to the ICloud. Many many attempts have failed - I have received nothing more than the message "can not restore," then a few minutes ago I attempted yet again to restore this device - at which time it indicated there were" no backups to restore from"-so it suggested I set it up as a new iPad - which I do not want to do. I started over and this time is tells me it cannot connect to the Apple Server - what the heck is going on? Also, from my iPhone 6s Plus - I can see this particular iPad on my iCloud. Can anyone help me or offer suggestions?
