Q: my internet is running really slowly

My internet started running really slowly yesterday, both on my MacBook Pro (purchased late 2014) and my iPhone 6S. A page will start to load, and then essentially freeze. It takes a minute or two for the page to completely load. I connect using WiFi, and there's nothing wrong with my signal. I checked with my provider and there isn't anything wrong with my router either. I've cleared the cache and done a number of other things which were suggested via numerous internet searches, but nothing is working. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Does your computer connect to wifi? If so, do me a favor and hold ALT/Option and click on your wifi logo. Then take a screen shot for me and post it please.

I came across another case similar to yours and it was due to the Antivirus program being installed.
I would suggest that you remove it and see if that helps.
From what I have read on this forum, Mac does not require you to run Antivirus.

Please open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Safari. Test. Then check the box again, if you wish. Post the results of the test.
