Q: ipod 2 second generation update
Hi
We have an old iPod 2 that we want to take on a trip for wifi access and to download some maps using Map.me
We can't seem to find out how to download an update!
Any ideas ?

If so, the latest version of iOS it can run is 4.2. If you are looking for an update to an app, most current apps in the App Store do not support iOS going back that far. In some cases, when you try to download an app, you get an option to download an older version of the app, but an updated version that runs under iOS 4 may be unavailable. If you have an older version now, that may be the latest version that works with your iPod touch.
