I understand The Wall Street Journal will not retain your account credentials in Safari. You can adjust the Safari settings for cookies and Keychain via the first link below, but the best option would be to utilize their free application optimized for the iPad. Take a look at the second link below for details on this application.

Thanks for the reply. I have the WSJ application on my iPad, but rarely use it. Instead almost all my interface to the WSJ is through email I receive from the WSJ containing links to articles. So, I think I need to go to the adjusting safari route. What should I do here?

Thank you for the follow-up. While this behavior may be expected with this website, I would start with clearing all Safari data and then make sure that you set block cookies to Allow from Websites I Visit. You can also enable iCloud Keychain to save your login information with the steps in the article below. Also, make sure to enable any options to keep you signed in.
