Feb 24, 2016 11:24 PM in response to DrIAKby D.Cohen,Since you have an iPhone with iOS 9.2.1 installed, make sure you use iTunes 12.3 or later on your computer. Earlier iTunes versions won't detect your phone and won't sync content with it.

How are you transferring? With iPhoto? With Photos for Mac? With Image Capture?
If you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on your iPhone with the "optimize storage" option, none of these applications on your Mac may see photos on your iPhone, since most the photos will be only in iCloud. In that case download the photos on your Mac from iCloud, or download the full versions of your photos back to your iPhone by disabling "Optimize storage" - if you have enough storage on the iPhone.
