Q: syncing photos

I am syncing my iPhone and iTunes says that it cannot sync photos because your photo library is not yet available.  What does this mean?  This has never been an issue nor have i ever seen this before.

    Hi alialv,

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

It looks like you're syncing your iPhone using iTunes but you see a message that your photo library isn't available. Have you recently upgraded to OS X El Capitan (or OS X Yosemite 10.10.5)?

If you're using Photos for Mac, make sure to Designate a System Photo Library in Photos.

For previous versions of OS X and/or iPhoto, feel free to let us know what versions you're working with.

    Best Regards.
