Q: iPod Shuffle not detected in Windows 10 home. Updated drivers as per the instructons but it failed.

iPod Shuffle 2nd gen is getting detected in Windows 10 Home. I have updated the usb drivers as per instructions and reinstalled Windows 10 as well. But device manager is showing the yellow '!' sign. Please help.

    Are you using the original USB docking cable (with a cradle at the iPod end) that came with the 2nd gen shuffle?

     

    If you have other USB devices connected at the same time, disconnect them and try connecting the shuffle by itself to a direct USB port on the computer.  You can leave standard USB keyboard/mouse connected, if used.

     

    When you connect it, watch the shuffle's light.  Does it come on?  Is it blinking, or showing a solid color?
