Mar 12, 2014 7:44 PM in response to sammaster2by Linc Davis,Contacts in the "On My iPhone" category, if any, will not sync with iCloud. If all the contacts are in the iCloud category, log in to the iCloud.com website and see whether they're there.

Feb 25, 2016 4:24 PM in response to AnaMusicby dethomp,I have a somewhat similar problem. Contacts won't sync between iPhone 6s and iMac. But calendar DOES sync automatically and quickly. Both contacts and calendar do sync between iPhone 6s and MacBook Pro. All devices are logged into iCloud.

Feb 25, 2016 7:29 PM in response to Duaneby dethomp,Thanks so much, Duane, for the quick, simple answer. I've postponed upgrading to El Capitan because of a small suspected problem. I now know that won't be a problem so I will upgrade to El Capitan when I finish tonight.
