Q: help menus dont work

I just received Logic Pro X from the app store and it runs fine..  However the help menus dont appear to work.

If I select any topic from the help menu like "Logic Pro X Instruments" or "Logic Pro X Effects"  I get the help window along with the Logic icon and the help title text but nothing else.  No text, no menu, nothing is selectable or clickable.

While there is help on the apple site, it referes to V9 not v10.

So how do I get help menus to work for Pro X version?

I'm running on a iMac 27" 3.4Ghz i5 -   El Capitan v10.11.3
