Q: Very slow sync iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1 iTunes 12.3.2

For the past couple of weeks, I've been getting VERY slow sync times for my iPhone 6, iPad air and iPad Mini 2 with iTunes on my Windows 10 laptop.

The phone is on iOS 9.2.1, iTunes is 12.3.2.

I sync with my laptop at least weekly. Today, there are 17 updated apps to sync. It's taking at least 30mins to sync to my phone. I have 12 GB spare space (62GB iPhone 6).

I have music, apps, some books, and photos on my phone. No movies, TV shows, or tones.

Any ideas what I can try to get the syncing back its old normal speed? That is, under 10 mins, even with ~20 app updates to install.

Hi KatiAus,
If you have been experiencing slow syncing times between iTunes for Windows and your computer, take a look at the troubleshooting steps outlined in the resource below. In addition to these steps, I would also suggest using an ethernet cable to connect to the internet instead of Wi-Fi, restarting your modem and router, and temporarily turning off any security software on your PC.
